Its location near Gare de Lyon was particularly beneficial, making my travels to the south seamless. The easy access to public transport via Train, Metro, and RER was a time-saver for this mountaineer eager to explore more than just the streets of Paris. Upon arrival, the staff greeted me with warmth, and their readiness to assist with my luggage before check-in was a welcome gesture, echoing the hospitality I cherish in the Himalayan teahouses. My room, albeit compact, had a spacious bathroom, allowing for a refreshing shower after a day of exploration. Breakfast was served in a cozy dining area, though small; it offered ample choices to fuel my adventures. Beyond the hotel, the nearby eateries, including a popular ‘fruit de Mer’ brasserie, added to the culinary journey. I enjoyed a balanced mix of tradition and convenience, enhancing my Parisian experience and leaving me with fond memories of this vibrant city.
